Abstract

The SPEECH concept serves as the third component of the researched verbalized complex concept WORD / LANGUAGE / SPEECH. The corresponding segment of the nominative field of the complex concept is the smallest in the analyzed sample. This happens for several reasons. First, of the 4 specialized dictionaries of linguistic terminology, one of them (ELL) does not have a separate speech article, although there is a whole cluster of articles that contain the corresponding lexeme in the terminological compounds (speech chain, speech community, etc.). Second, the total number of dictionary articles defining and characterizing this concept from different angles is much smaller due to the smaller number of references from SPEECH nuclear articles. In total, according to all dictionaries, there are only 31 internal links and no external ones. The terminological unit felicity conditions falls into the marginal zone of the nominative field of the SPEECH concept by reference to the second degree from the peripheral article speech act. A separate link is found only in the Crystal dictionary, although the topic is touched upon in most dictionaries. Several more terminological units fall into the marginal zone of the field, including those with the speech component. Thus, in the ELL dictionary we register the article speech chain, which states that the speech chain is a physiological, neurological, physiological and anatomical processes that are involved step by step in the production and perception of the act of communication. This zone of the nominative field includes dictionary articles to which there are internal references of the first degree, ie derived from nuclear dictionary articles speech. There are no common links (ie those registered in speech articles from different lexicographical sources) in the sample. Each nuclear article offers its own set of links. Therefore, the division of this zone into near and far periphery (as was the case in the nominative fields of the WORD and SPEECH subconcepts) is not possible. In addition, it should be noted that in peripheral articles, in turn, we also record links, which we call links of the second degree. The corresponding dictionary articles form a marginal zone of the nominative field. According to our observations, the articles of the second degree of reference are very closely correlated with their “parent” articles of the first degree of reference. Their separate consideration often violates the thematic integrity of the considered phenomena.
