SELF-ORGANIZATION MECHANISMS AND ORDER PARAMETERS IN ENGLISH SCIENTIFIC AGROTECHNICAL DISCOURSE
Abstract
The article studies self-organization mechanisms in the English scientific agrotechnical discourse. Synergetic paradigm suggests that the language of the researched discourse is a dynamic, open and hierarchically-built system that responds to changes of the environment and the requirements and limitations of attractor and repeller. The paper proves that self-organization mechanisms act at the one horizontal level, but all mechanisms of the vertical hierarchy are involved in self-organization of the system. It is also defined the main and specific order parameters. The main order parameter was identified as professional and scientific competence; it subordinates specific order parameters. The main order parameter influences on self-organizing; it arranges chaotic conditions, supports the information balance. Professional and scientific competence also influences the quality of the English scientific agrotechnical discourse. Termhood, rational information value of linguistic means, intersubjectivity, empiricalness were sorted out as specific order parameters. They tend to save integrity of the linguistic system, provide interconnection of all elements and parts of the discourse. Order parameters are considered to effect the reaction of the self-organizing system on outer actions and change of its parameters, structures and functions. These processes are exemplified on the texts of the English scientific agrotechnical discourse.
