Abstract

This article deals with the problem of the linguoconcept structure in general and the macrostructure of the linguoconcept LOVE in detail. The different opinions of modern linguists as for this matter are regarded.

The notion of the content structure of the concept seems not only relevant, but also actual in the light of the achievements of cognitive linguistics at the beginning of the XXI century. It is generally known that the structure of the concept includes, in addition to semantic content, also an assessment of the attitude of a person to a given object and other components: universal, nationalcultural, predetermined by human life in a certain cultural environment; social, due to the affiliation of a person to a certain social stratum; group, of the linguistic personality to a certain age group and the sexual group; individual-personal, formed under the influence of personal characteristics - education, training, individual experience, psychophysiological features.

The methodology for studying the concept proposed by U. S. Stepanov suggests the sequence of such procedures: (1) identification of the etymon of the word, that is the study of the post-history of the concept; (2) the study of the root group, that is, the group of words formed from this etymon; (3) analysis of the main derivatives from the root of the word in the diachrony (epidigmatic links); (4) studying the use of these words at the synchronous level (syntagmatic links); (5) identification of the paradigmatic links of the analyzed word-concept; (6) comparing the word with a similar or similar word-concept in other languages.

M. V. Nikitin distinguishes in the structure of the concept the image, the concept (intensional), the cognitive implicative, and the pragmatic implicational. Intensional - the "closest value" - is the core of the meaning in which the obligatory signs are based on which objects (situations) are called certain ones. Implicational - imperative value - the other part of the lexical meaning, which has the probability of being manifested in a particular context.
